Z Pak sounds good. . . ZZ Top won’t work, because of the double zed. How about Z-Boys? (suggested by another reader)

For R - Argyle? No.

How is F-Troop still relevant? I like Ken Berry as much as the next guy, but the F-train goes from Queens to Brooklyn. And I’d lose the G-Spot for the more kid-friendly G-Funk.

Doesn’t G-funk overlap with P-funk though? I don’t want to reuse ‘funk’ if i don’t have to.
I like WWF– ooh, Tom Wickersham came up with WB for W, though. That’s better.

what’s P-Funk?
P-knuckle, dawg.

What’s P-Funk???? George Clinton, Parliament-Funkadelic, c’mon!
Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 12:47 pm
OK, i changed G-spot to G-funk and then opted for G. Love so that i could leave P-Funk. You gotta know P-Funk—if you had learned your letters from the belz primer, J, you wouldn’t not know P-Funk.
I also swapped O-ring, which is a part of a car, for OJ—more of a teaching opportunity in that one, I think.

I agree with the OJ call. I don’t know why G-Funk and P-Funk can’t coexist, though. THAT’S a teaching opportunity.

a vote- K-Swiss or K-Fed?
Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 1:12 pm
toughie. K-Swiss has demonstrated staying power. K-Fed, while ubiquitous, is likely evanescent.
Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 1:13 pm
i’ve opted for Kmart. Talk about staying power!

Genius!! And it invites a very important conversation about the disturbing Rosie O’Donnell and Penny Marshall K-mart commercials.

R2D2
WWJD is really actually a good representation of slang
My two cents…..
Friday, July 20, 2007 at 9:13 am
I love H-E-double-toothpicks and WWJD, but they don’t fit with all the others - which have one letter and a one syllable word following it. G. Love. T-bone. That sort of thing.

Oh, I guess I missed the rules. Damn. Again, that’s why I’m a painter. I hate letters and words. Hate them!

R.J. as in R. J. Reynolds, but I suppose R2 as in R2D2? is a better choice
